It is great to see the Musso and Franks still going strong, even though I never got to eat dinner with my dad at this awesome place I did however get to to drink coffee and eat a muffin for breakfast from time to time in the early 80's with a boss of mine who did the plumbing and electrical work for the restaurant. His name was Bill Marchebout. I believe that is how he spelled it, only been since 1984 to remember that name lol.

In case you didn't get to hear it mentioned, the main character in the CBS TV show Moonlight made a comment about before being turned into a Vampire, how he use to love the Prime Rib from Musso's.

Looking forward to maybe one day getting to bring my wife and enjoying a dinner.

Sincerely
Sam Long

My name is Geneva Fox and I was sitting here going through the website with my mom because she remembers her father, my grandfather Joseph Plazola working here. We were going through to see if maybe any members of the staff remember him. He worked there as a young boy washing dishes and he eventually became a cook. He worked there until his passing in November of 1969. If anyone has any information or any memories of him it would be neat to hear a reply!!

A reply to Michael & Abbe ... Parking anywhere in the area is a pain ... suck up the $5.00 spot and come back soon. I would gladly pay 15 - 20 bucks any night to enjoy all that Musso and Frank has to offer. You can not put a price tag on Classic Hollywood!

I worked up the street at the Pickwick (not Pickwood) in the late sixties. Some customers (TV & movie stars and writers) would grab a few of us for company and lead us to lunch for good food and company. Maybe the best days of my life

If you want EXCELLENT service, you have to sit with Gil...that's my dad. He's not like the other waiters, in fact you won't find a single picture of him here because he refuses to take one. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Celebrated my 65th birthday at Musso & Franks' on July 15th. Drove up from San Diego just to have dinner with Manny in the old room. I have been coming to this restaurant since 1981 and have always sat at the counter. What a pleasant evening. Just like it was yesterday when I went there for the 1st time. Manny has signed every menu since I began going there. I have over 75 now in my collection. As Manny said the other evening "...Mr. C. we are getting older and better together." As a bonus Nicolas Cage was 3 seats down and he was very gracious to my wife and we took a picture together and signed our menu. A true gentleman.

It doesn't matter who you are, everyone is famous at Musso & Frank. Sit back, have a drink and enjoy the fine company of those around you.

Years ago, I was a regular at Musso's and I always sat at the counter in Manny's section. I was young and trying to start my career. Manny was always sweet, funny and protective. He even came to my wedding in Griffith Park. I'm going to stop at Musso's for lunch on 5/28, if he's working it would be amazing to see him again!

Just got this link from TubeFilter who will be mingling here following another event on May 7. I will be at nearby (I think?) W Hollywood Hotel for a Happy Hour 7 - 9PM and came here to look for your address. Suggestion: make it easy to find.
Congrats on putting up WordPress website.
